Cafe Gitane Style Avocado Toast

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado
Red pepper flakes
Extra virgin olive oil
Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
2 slices of bread - rye, sourdough, whole grain, anything







Directions:

Toast sliced bread lightly. Place thinly sliced avocado on bread - one avocado half per bread slice.

Using the back of a spoon, spread the avocado on the bread in an even distribution creating more of an avocado spread.

Squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice on the avocado, just a touch. Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top and then drizzle good olive oil over the top.

Eat and enjoy!
